The 2020 Cabernet Franc opens with supple black and blue fruits, followed by notes of fresh sage, tobacco leaf, and mineral undertones of graphite and granite. Its full-bodied palate is vivacious, with delicate tannins and fresh-balanced acidity. Its long-layered finish is rich in notes of tart cherry, plum, pomegranate and raspberry.
GROWING SEASON
The 2020 growing season began on a dry note, followed by much-needed rains in April that replenished the soils and set the stage for healthy canopy growth. Conditions through mid-summer remained mild and steady, with the exception of a rare August thunderstorm prior to harvest.
